“Final boy” done with all the psychos of the world. I grew up in a heavily violent environment in multiple contexts and I just want to meet someone I don’t have to have my guard up with. I find comfort in horror movies for many reasons, but I suppose my main one is that it makes scary things feel more or less real when you need them to. The characters can also be like found family among the chaos. It also helps me learn about myself. I’ve been recently medically diagnosed with the same neurological conditions as Will Graham, so watching Hannibal has taught me some coping skills to get through the rougher days my encephalitis brings and seeing someone share my experiences with hyper-empathy syndrome and autism makes me feel less alone.

I also found out after doing a ton of family history research that I am related to several major horror icons! I couldn’t be happier after learning about my spooky lineage. I am slowly becoming a creature myself and building an army of my fledglings (aka being a menace at family gatherings and getting all my little cousins to join in
