I'm a trained special effects make up artist (13 years now) prop builder and set designer primarily for the horror genre. I once turned my 2 car garage into a permanent haunted room named "The Den of Death" because I freaking felt like it, and also because I thought it was funny due to the fact I lived in an "Edward Scissorhand" like neighborhood. Ha ha, yup.... I scared the straights.
Hmmmm.... What movies do I like.... Considering what I do I'm not the biggest fan of the expensive cartoons (cgi for you slow ones out there). But I grew up on watching the best horror flicks ever made, and I feel the same about them today. Nightmare on a Elm Street, Hellraiser, Misery, It, Candyman, Halloween, The Shining, Friday the 13th, Evil Dead, Army of Darkness, etc. (too many to list) It's a bad idea to ask my what my favorite movie is, because I appreciate movies for many different reasons.
Halloween (of course) is my absolutely favorite time of year. I live in Orlando, so I'm close to Universal's Halloween Horror Nights. I must say, this event used to be fun however has declined fast year after year. (Sorry, just my opinion) I would really like to meet some new friends who would like to travel to some of the local haunts throughout the country. FYI, haunts and horror movies do NOT scare me. When the straights are screaming in terror I'm yelling with excitement. The more gruesome the better
