There can be no one favorite horror movie. Friends have been telling me forever to put must love scary movies in profiles. Always thought this would make people, especially most (I said most not all) girls uneasy. Should have known somebody on the internet would have thought of this and provided a venue for it. Love zombies, slashers, vampires, monsters, large mutant things, everything from A -Z - A Nightmare on Elm Street to Zombieland. Movies that don't start with letters like [REC]or 1408. Big budget to no budget. Really love stuff that flips the normal ideas of the genre. Near Dark, Tucker & Dale vs Evil come to mind. Horror not far removed from reality like Devil's Rejects, Henry, Man Bites Dog, Human Centipede. Have thousands of horror movies stored would love to share with others, most of my friends/family could at best be interested in about maybe 2-3% of the movies I watch. And apart from King none of them read much horror and most don't even read him. I was aware and am a member of a number of horror sites, fan, clubs, but when I initially searched for horror and singles a number of years ago all I found were the horror stories of Dating websites or forum/blog posts with women saying they hate horror. First off who can hate horror? Hate is a pretty strong word. Apparently there is a demographic of men who are uncomfortable with women who don't get scared during a scary movie or even worse might enjoy horror. Don't need to get always get scared watching movies, most don't even provide that true terror kind of feeling, at best you get a cat jumping out or maybe if you're lucky a chill up your spine. I usually get more frightened watching the news and hearing about horror right here around us.
