The Question Almost Too Hard To Answer...
...is for me, which ONE of the horror movies I have seen in the last 20+ years is for me the FAVOURITE one. *Poof*, ok, maybe I here present a "small" selection instead: "Suspiria", "Only Lovers Left Alive" (I simply ADORE Tilda Swinton!), "Daybreakers" (because of the capitalism-critical undertone), "The Things We Do In The Shadows" (movie and series; because this mockumentary about a group of vampires living in a shared apartment is hilarious), "Southbound" (because of its heavily philosophical topic), "Suck" (because appearances of Iggy Pop & Alice Cooper in the same movie is epic), "The Babadook" and "The Wild Hunt" (because of a very uncommon ans "real" take on the genre of psychological horror), "The Awakening" (a very melancholic take on the ghost genre), and "The Valdemar Legacy I+II" (a purist cthulhoid two-parter with guest appearance of Bram Stoker).
