Huge Clive Barker fan. I *heart* Nightbreed, but nobody knows what I'm talking about when I bring it up. *cries* Also, Hellraiser and Lord of Illusions. A bunch of short stories and novels. Also, Candyman, Midnight Meat Train, Book of Blood. He's also gay, which doesn't help me, but I support the cause.

John Carpenter made my favorite movie when I was growing up: Big Trouble in Little China. Then, he made The Fog, Halloween, Cigarette Burns episode of Masters of Horror, Vampires, In the Mouth of Madness, They Live, Escape from New York, Escape from L.A...

George A. Romero: Night of the Living Dead, Dawn of the Dead, Tales from the Darkside, The Crazies, The Dark Half, etc.

Of course, there's also Sam Raimi, Wes Craven, Dario Argento, Alfred Hitchcock, Stuart Gordon, etc.
