Lovely & Dark My passion for horror movies extends back to childhood. I am thankful that I was never deprived in that regard and could watch what I pleased. I prefer the time in horror when it did not have to make sense, nudity flowed casually without regard, and if you were the the ones having S-- you were the first to get axed, corn syrup blood, and the joyous giggle after watching the maidens always trip and fall in their escape. Those are some of the things I relish when it comes to horror movies. Not cliche misrepresentations of things that have already been done and do nothing more but waste a couple hours of my time, which seems to be the horror movies of today. Particularly though, I do enjoy the classic black & white films of the early days. One of my favorites would be The Haunting. I love when you get to hear the disturb mumblings of someone's mind, far more eerie.
