Keep it light, keep it bright, keep it .... If you're that rare combination of horror fan and broadway fan, and can fill in that sentence, MESSAGE ME NOW!!!

My preference is for Horror with a somewhat comedic lift. Zombie movies, Shaun of the Dead, the Evil Dead 2. Zombieland ROCKED! Though I haven't seen it in years, Texas Chainsaw Massacre 2 used to be one of my faves. A good blend of laughs, jump scares, and ZOMG!!! gross-outs.

And of course, being a musical fan, I love "Sweeney Todd". The Tim Burton movie had it's moments, but I don't get the sense that he really wanted to direct a musical. I prefer a more darkly comic and suspenseful stage version. The filmed version with George Hearn and Angela Langsbury came pretty darn close.
