My names Brooks and I'm into everything creative, anything from cooking to performance art. I fell in love with horror as a child. I started watching horror movies at a way inappropriate age. For some reason my parents wouldn't let me watch anything with nudity but were completely comfortable with letting me watch monsters eating people. It didn't screw me up whatsoever lol. But other than movies I'm an avid reader and I started digesting authors like Poe and Lovecraft and I couldn't get enough. My father was in the military so I traveled and moved around alot and didn't have alot of friends. So I devoured books and movies and spent my time cultivating my imagination. I read the entire book It when I was 6 if that gives you any idea. As an adult my fascination with horror and creating has only intensified. I went to film school for two years and I got a BA in Film and Media Arts. I always go above and beyond for Halloween as it's my favorite holiday. I've recently been learning how to do fx makeup and i always help my family and friends make costumes. I'm an assistant bakery manager and I truly love cooking. It's like art and science all rolled into one and on top of it I get to feed the people I care about. My life long dream has been to become a novelist. Most of what I write is horror related but like most of my creative pursuits I'm very eclectic and enjoy different genres. I also am really into urban exploration and finding places with dark history's where I can do paranormal investigation. Truly discovering there is life after death would be so amazing and I think it would help so many people move on from grief and illuminate how vast and unique the universe truly is. But I'm ulitimately here to make friends with fellow groovy ghoulies and meet the Morticia to my Gomez. Have a lovely day and thanks for reading.
